In Part 33 of The King's Sermon, Pastor Javier lead us in a quick recap of everything that we have studied so far throughout this series! The recap was extremely important, because each of us needs to be reminded that the exceeding righteousness Christ demands from us is unattainable. This reality then leads us into this weeks verse which says,  “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”- Matthew 7:7-8 We are all fallible human beings. We constantly make mistakes and are sinful. As a result, we fall short of the righteousness that is required from us. Therefore, we are left with only one option. We must run to Christ! We must pray! In the midst of our insufficiency our Father is inviting us to pray. The death and resurrection of Jesus is the foundation for all the promises of God and all the answers to prayer that we ever get! Everything depends on him. This is why we: Ask, Seek, and Knock.
