En la parte 34 del El Sermon del Rey, llegamos oficialmente a “el cruce” del Sermón del Monte! De aquí  en adelante en el resto del sermón, Jesús señala repetidamente dos cosas: la necesidad de elegir si seguir a Dios o no, y el hecho de que las opciones son dos y sólo dos.  “Entren por la puerta estrecha, porque ancha es la puerta y espacioso el camino que lleva a la perdición, y muchos son los que entran por ella. Pero estrecha es la puerta y angosto el camino que lleva a la vida, y pocos son los que la encuentran.” (Mateo 7:13-14) El domingo vimos que hay dos puertas, la angosta y la ancha;  dos caminos, el difícil y el fácil, dos grupos, los pocos y los muchos, dos destinos, vida o destrucción.  Aquí el Señor se enfoca en la decisión inevitable que toda persona debe tomar.  El cruce donde cada uno de nosotros debe decidir por que puerta entraremos y el camino por el que iremos.  ¿Elegirás la vida?  ¿O destrucción?  Solo hay una forma de salvar a la humanidad.  Y esa es la fe en Cristo y en nada ni en nadie más.    /  In Part 34 of the King's Sermon,  we officially reached “the crossroad” of the Sermon on the Mount! From here through the rest of the sermon, Jesus repeatedly points out two things: the necessity of choosing whether to follow God or not, and the fact that the choices are two and only two.  “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” (Matthew‬ ‭7:13-14)‬ On Sunday we saw that there are two gates, the narrow and the wide; two ways, the hard and the easy, two groups, the few and the many, two destinations life or destruction. Here the Lord focuses on the inevitable decision that every person must make. The crossroads where we each must decide on the gate we will enter and the way we will go. Will you choose life? Or destruction? There’s only one way for humanity to be saved. And that way is faith in Christ and nothing and no one else.
