Anteriormente, durante nuestra serie, establecimos que entrar por la puerta estrecha es llegar a Dios por el único camino que Él ha provisto, es decir, a través de Jesús, el Hijo del Dios Altísimo.  Ahora, mientras nos encontramos en la encrucijada de esa decisión, debemos recordar que el verdadero camino a Dios es angosto y que el falso camino a la destrucción es amplio. Así que el domingo miramos a Jesús advirtiendo a su audiencia, en esencia diciéndoles: "Mientras se esfuerzan por entrar por esa puerta estrecha y caminar por ese camino angosto que lleva a la vida, TENGAN CUIDADO, MUCHO CUIDADO porque hay algunos que buscan engañarlos". ------------ “Guárdense de los falsos profetas, que vienen a ustedes vestidos de ovejas, pero que por dentro son lobos rapaces. Por sus frutos los conocerán. ¿Acaso se recogen uvas de los espinos o higos de los abrojos? Así también, todo árbol sano da buenos frutos, pero el árbol podrido da malos frutos. El árbol sano no puede dar malos frutos, ni tampoco puede el árbol podrido dar buenos frutos. Todo árbol que no lleva buen fruto es cortado y echado en el fuego. Así que, por sus frutos los conocerán.” (Mateo 7: 15-20) ------------ Aquí, Jesús identifica uno de los principales peligros que dificultan el camino angosto ... falsos profetas.  Y más específicamente la falsa enseñanza.  El domingo examinamos esta advertencia que presentó Jesús.  Estudiamos cuál es el perfil de los falsos profetas y cómo podemos identificar a los falsos profetas. Podemos identificarlos por lo que producen. (Por Su fruto) ¡Debemos protegernos conociendo la verdad!  La verdad nos hace libres y somos santificados por la Verdad.  ¡Aquellos que están en Cristo han sido salvados, redimidos y perdonados por Jesucristo, la personificación de la Verdad! Por lo cual mientras cuidamos esta preciosa salvación, cada uno de nosotros debe examinar su propia vida también haciendo la pregunta: "¿Qué fruto estoy produciendo?"

Previously during our series, we established that entering by the narrow gate is coming to God by the only way He has provided- that is through Jesus, the Son of the Most High God. Now, as we stand at the crossroads of that decision, we must remember that the true way to God is narrow and that the false way to destruction is broad.  So this Sunday we looked at Jesus warning his audience by essentially telling them, “As you strive to enter that narrow gate and walk that narrow road that leads to life, beware, be careful because there are some who seek to mislead you.” ------------ “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorn-bushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”- Matthew 7:15-20 ------------ Here, Jesus identifies one of the main dangers that make the narrow way difficult..false prophets. And more specifically false teaching. On Sunday we examined this warning that Jesus presented. We studied what is the profile of false prophets, and how we are able to identify false prophets. We are able to identify them by what they produce. (Their fruit) We are to guard ourselves by knowing the truth! The truth sets us free, and we are sanctified by the Truth. Those who are in Christ have been saved, redeemed and forgiven by Jesus Christ, the personification of Truth! Therefore as we care for this precious salvation we have received, we must each examine our own lives also and ask ourselves the question, “What fruit am I producing?”
