Dios Trino/Triune God

Creemos en un Dios, que existe eternamente en tres personas igualmente divinas: el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo, que se conocen, se aman y se glorifican el uno al otro. Este Dios verdadero y vivo es infinitamente perfecto tanto en su amor como en su santidad. Él es el Creador de todas las cosas, visibles e invisibles y es por lo tanto digno de recibir toda la gloria y adoración. Inmortal y eterno, Él conoce de manera perfecta y exhaustiva el final desde el principio, sostiene y gobierna soberanamente sobre todas las cosas, y providencialmente trae a relucir sus buenos propósitos eternos para redimir a un pueblo para sí mismo y restaurar su creación caída, para la alabanza de su gloriosa gracia.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three equally divine persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, who know, love and glorify each other. This true and living God is infinitely perfect both in his Love and in his Holiness. He is the Creator of all things, visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all Glory and Worship. Immortal and eternal, He perfectly and comprehensively knows the end from the beginning, sovereignly upholds and rules over all things, and providentially brings about His eternal good purposes...to redeem a people for Himself and restore His fallen creation, to the praise of His glorious Grace.

El Evangelio/ The Gospel

Creemos que el evangelio son las buenas noticias de Jesucristo—la sabiduría misma de Dios. Completa locura para el mundo, aun cuando es el poder de Dios para los que son salvados. We believe that the Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ—the very wisdom of God. While it does not make sense to the World, it is the power of God for those who are saved. This good news is Christological...Centered on the cross and the resurrection: the Gospel is not proclaimed if Christ is not proclaimed, and the authentic Christ has not been proclaimed if his death and resurrection are not central. (The message is “Christ died for our sins . . . [and] he was lifted up”). This good news is Biblical: (His death and resurrection are according to the Scriptures.) Theological and lead to slavation: (Christ died for our sins, to reconcile us with God.) Historical: (if the Gospel did not happen, our faith is worthless, we are still in our sins, and we would be the most to be pitied of all.) Apostolic: (The message was entrusted and transmitted by the apostles, who were witnesses of these saving events.) Intensely personal: (Wherever received, believed and firmly held, individuals are saved).

Jesucristo/Jesus Christ

Creemos que, movido por amor y en obediencia a su Padre, el Hijo eterno se hizo humano: el Verbo se hizo carne, completamente Dios y completamente humano, una persona en dos naturalezas. El hombre Jesús, el Mesías prometido de Israel, fue concebido por la obra milagrosa del Espíritu Santo y nació de la virgen María. Él obedeció perfectamente a su Padre celestial, vivió una vida sin pecado, hizo señales milagrosas, fue crucificado bajo Poncio Pilato, se levantó físicamente de entre los muertos al tercer día y ascendió al cielo. We believe that, moved by love and in obedience to his Father, the eternal Son became human: the Word became flesh, fully God and fully human, one person in two natures. The man Jesus, the promised Messiah of Israel, was conceived by the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He perfectly obeyed his heavenly Father, lived a sinless life, performed miraculous signs, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, rose physically from the dead on the third day, and ascended to Heaven. As the mediating King, He is seated at the right hand of God the Father, exercising in heaven and on earth, all the sovereignty of God. He is our high priest and righteous advocate. We believe that by his incarnation, life, death, resurrection and ascension, Jesus Christ acted as our representative and substitute. He did this so that, in Him, we can have the imputed righteousness of God: On the cross, Christ canceled sin, propitiated God, bearing the full penalty of our sins, and now all who believe in Him can be reconciled with God. By his resurrection, Christ Jesus was vindicated by his Father, broke the power of death, defeated Satan (who once had power over death,) and brought eternal life to all his people. By his ascension, he has been forever exalted as Lord and has prepared a place for us to be with him. We believe that salvation is found in no other, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. Because God chose the lowly things of this world, no human being can ever boast before him. Christ Jesus has become for us the wisdom of God, that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
